- ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ¼ cup chopped fresh dill ((or 1 tablespoon dried))
- ¼ cup capers, (drained)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pound fresh asparagus
