Such a wonderful salad tossed with a fabulous Asian style dressing.

Bahan-bahan

8 porsi
  • ½ head green cabbage, (shredded)
  • ½ head purple cabbage, (shredded)
  • ½ cup slivered almonds, (toasted (see notes below))
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • ½ cup canola or vegetable oil
  • 4 tablespoons granulated white sugar
  • 6 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1¼ cups chow mein noodles ((the crunchy noodles))

Langkah-langkah

  1. In a large bowl, toss together the green cabbage, red cabbage, slivered almonds and poppy seeds.

  2. Combine the dressing ingredients in a jar, and shake to combine.

  3. When ready to serve, toss the dressing (as much as you'd like- perhaps not all of it) with the salad. Sprinkle in the chow mein noodles and toss to combine.
