• ½ cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 1 large egg yolk
• ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup all purpose flour
• 5 ounces bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, (chopped)
• 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
• ½ cup packaged toffee pieces ((or chopped Heath or Skor bar))
