Healthy Turkey Burgers
Light, juicy turkey burgers flavored with ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and cilantro, topped with a bright homemade orange-ginger glaze. A healthy, flavorful twist on burgers!

- 16 ounces ground turkey
- ½ cup chopped green onions
- ¼ cup soft bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- salt and pepper, (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vegetable, avocado or canola oil ((for greasing the grill))
- ½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon salted butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, green onions, breadcrumbs, cilantro, soy sauce, ginger and garlic. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix well. Divide the turkey mixture into 4 equal patties.

Preheat the grill. Grease the grill grates with the oil. Grill the burgers until desired doneness.

In a small saucepan, combine the orange juice, lemon juice and soy sauce. Let it simmer until reduced by half. Whisk in the butter and cilantro.

Spoon the sauce over the burgers and serve.
