  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound kielbasa (or smoked sausage sliced diagonally, ¾-inch)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 medium white onion (sliced)
  • 2 cups sauerkraut (drained*)
  • ¼ cup chicken broth (or water)
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Langkah-langkah

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add kielbasa and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.

  2. Reduce the heat to medium and to the same pan, add butter and onions. Cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 5 minutes.

  3. Stir in sauerkraut, broth, oregano, and black pepper. Mix well to combine. Add kielbasa.

  4. Cover and simmer over medium-low heat for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and flavors are blended.

  5. Serve warm with crusty bread or boiled potatoes.
