• 1 cup granulated white sugar
• 1/4 cup cornstarch
• 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 3 large egg yolks
• 1 cup half and half cream
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 1 tablespoon finely grated lemon zest
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1½ cups heavy whipping cream
• 2 teaspoons powdered sugar
• finely sliced lemon peel, (for garnish (white pith removed))
