Asparagus Parmesan
Parmesan Asparagus - easy sauteed asparagus with Parmesan cheese on a skillet. This recipe takes 10 minutes, so healthy and delicious.

- 10 oz (280g) young asparagus
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- salt (to taste)
- ground black pepper (to taste)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (shredded)

Trim 1/2 inch off the bottom of the asparagus stems and discard the trimmings.

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil. Sauté the garlic until it is slightly browned, then add the asparagus. Toss with a spatula to combine well with the garlic.

Add salt and ground black pepper to taste, and stir to combine well with the asparagus. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top of the asparagus, then immediately cover the skillet with its lid. Let it cook for about 1 minute, or until the cheese begins to melt. Dish out and serve immediately.
