  • ⅔ cup granulated sugar (*see note)
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg (or cinnamon)
  • ⅛ tsp fine sea salt
  • 1 large egg (plus 1 Tbsp water for egg wash)
  • 1 tsp coarse turbinado or granulated sugar (for finishing)
