Starbucks copycat gingerbread loaf is the ultimate holiday treat! It's coated in a simple cream cheese frosting and is full of warm spices and rich molasses flavor. Enjoy it for Christmas brunch or a sweet treat at night!

- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon ground clove
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- ⅓ cup applesauce
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 ½ -2 cups powdered sugar
- 4 ounces cream cheese, (at room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 -3 teaspoons whole milk

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray a 9x5-inch loaf pan with non-stick spray.
Whisk together 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons ground ginger, 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg, and ½ teaspoon ground clove.
In a separate bowl, whisk 1 cup granulated sugar, ½ cup vegetable oil, 2 large eggs, ⅓ cup applesauce, 1 tablespoon molasses, and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Using a spatula or spoon, add the flour mixture to the sugar and oil mixture and mix until everything comes together into a batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55-65 minutes. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean.
Remove the loaf from the oven and let it cool completely before frosting.
For the frosting, using a hand mixer, whisk 4 ounces cream cheese, until it is smooth. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2-3 teaspoons whole milk, and ¼ cup of the 1 ½-2 cups powdered sugar at a time, and mix until incorporated.
Continue adding more powdered sugar until a soft frosting texture is reached. Frost the loaf when it is completely cooled.
