  • 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups white whole wheat or whole what pastry flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • pinch of kosher salt (optional)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • honey (for serving (optional))

Langkah-langkah

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 9x5 inch bread pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the mashed bananas, ricotta, eggs, and vanilla. Add the flour, baking powder and pinch of salt. Mix until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Transfer to the oven and bake for 40-50 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. I like to bake mine around 45 minutes for an extra doughy bread! Drizzle with honey if desired. Enjoy warm or at room temp...but warm is best!
