Rhubarb Passion Margarita

• salt for the rim
• 1 1/2 ounces silver tequila
• 1 1/2 ounces Cointreau
• 2 ounces fresh lime juice, plus wedges for serving
• 2 tablespoons strawberry rhubarb jam (recipe follows)
• 1 -2 teaspoons agave nectar, or more to taste
• 1 tablespoon fresh passion fruit pulp ((optional))
• 2 1/2 cups chopped rhubarb
• 1 cup chopped strawberries
• 1/2 cup honey
• juice of 1 lemon
