  • 2 pounds Brussels sprouts (908g, fresh, cut in half lengthwise top to bottom)
  • 1 medium red onion (roughly chopped)
  • 6 cloves garlic (roughly chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Pinch red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin oil
  • 8 slices thick cut bacon (cut into ½ inch strips)
