  • 16 ounces fresh green beans, (trimmed)
  • ¼ cup all purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380℉.

  2. Rinse green beans in a colander. Don't dry them (the flour will stick better).

  3. Place the flour in a shallow bowl. Place the eggs in another shallow bowl, and whisk them together.

  4. In a third shallow bowl, stir together the bread crumbs, cheese, salt and pepper.

  5. Dip green bean in flour, then egg and then into the bread crumb mixture. Repeat with more green beans. You want to air fry the green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket, so dip as many as will fit.

  6. Air fry for 5 to 7 minutes (check after 5 minutes-- you want them browned and crisp). Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
